ASOCIACIÓN PARA LA EDUCACIÓN TEOLÓGICA HISPANA (AETH)
Executive Director
Position Description: The Executive Director (ED) works under the direction and supervision of the AETH Executive Council (EC). He or She serves as ex-officio member of the Assembly and the EC, with full voice and no vote. She or he coordinates and facilitate EC meetings and must submit quarterly reports to the EC. This person must bring to the EC suggestions as to how AETH may expand or modify its ministry as warranted by circumstances, including possible new programs and partnerships, services and fundraising possibilities. In consultation with the EC, develops proposals for future programs and plans and implement membership and fundraising campaigns. Also, prepares budgets for the discussion and approval by the EC, is responsible for the supervision and the implementation of budgets approved by the EC and prepares reports for funding organizations.
The ED oversees the daily operation of the AETH offices, including but not limited to maintenance of financial records, membership and donor proceedings, and book sales. He or she oversees the provision of financial records for auditing purposes and is responsible for the inventory of books for sale and resale. Also, she or he supervises AETH office personnel, employs part-time clerical personnel and office staff, and makes recommendations to the EC for the employment or termination of full-time personnel. He or she oversees all AETH program initiatives as well as the production and distribution of AETH’s newsletter, Encuentro, and other pertinent materials.
The ED represents the AETH before government agencies, educational institutions, funding organizations, theological accrediting bodies, and other related entities. This person must be creative in discovering opportunities for AETH to grow, to serve better, and to develop innovative programs as well as perform other duties as assigned by the Assembly and/or the Executive Council.
Qualifications: Qualifications The candidate must have a Christian commitment and interest in theological education and be in good standing with his/her local church and/or denomination. He or she must have developed a long term relationship with AETH, should subscribe to its philosophy and purposes as stated in the governing documents and must be able to articulate the mission and vision of AETH clearly.
The candidate must have fundraising experience, demonstrate ability and willingness to be an effective team leader and, have a proven record of responsibility in meeting deadlines and fulfilling commitments. She or he must demonstrate experience in the use of modern technology, proficiency in management, administrative, and interpersonal skills, be able to communicate and relate effectively with institutions and practitioners of theological education all levels (e.g., Bible Institute, Graduate Seminary, and University) and, demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
It is highly desirable for the applicant to hold at least an M.A. in Religion, Theology, Christian Education, or a related field and must be able and willing to relocate to the area where the AETH headquarter is located.

Dean and Professor of the School of Theology
Position Description: The Dean is responsible for improving and promoting the quality and effectiveness of the School’s instructional, research, and service programs, community engagement, and resource development. The Dean also works closely with the University President in holding in trust the theological and biblical direction of the university, providing both proactive and responsive leadership for evangelical, faith informed learning. The Dean reports directly to the Provost and serves as the chief administrator of the school through providing academic and administrative leadership.

Pastoral Care and Counseling
Position Description: The Candler School of Theology and Emory University invites applications and nominations for a full-time junior-level tenure track position in pastoral care and counseling. The appointee will teach primarily in the master of divinity program and will be responsible for an introductory course in pastoral care taught on a regular basis. Other teaching responsibilities could include electives in pastoral care and counseling, family systems, marriage and family therapy, occasional courses in religion and personality theory, psychology or religion, or religion and the human sciences. Participation in Candler’s program of contextual education is also expected. Pastoral Care and Counseling & Executive Director of the Clinebell Institute
Position Description: Claremont School of Theology has a full-time, tenure-track faculty position for a qualified individual in Pastoral Care and Counseling, who also will serve as the Executive Director of the Clinebell Institute for Pastoral Counseling and Psychotherapy.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have an MDiv, a PhD in counseling or clinical psychology, and credentials for and experience in clinical teaching and supervision in pastoral counseling. In addition, he or she must be a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, as well as have met the requirements for becoming a Fellow or Diplomate in AAPC and for becoming a licensed clinician in California. The successful candidate will be fluent in Korean in order to participate actively in the Korean DMin program. Ordination in the United Methodist Church is an additional desideratum. PITTSBURGH THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
Church History
Position Description: Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, a graduate institution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), seeks a professor to teach Church History, including electives and all introductory church history courses in the MDiv./MA programs and responsibilities in the DMin and continuing education programs. Teaching in the cooperative PhD program with the University of Pittsburgh is a future possibility. It is preferred that this person have a focus in Reformation studies with competencies in Patristics and medieval studies. This person will teach preaching within the context of Christian worship, in a manner that will help students integrate the various theological disciplines in their preaching. In addition to teaching, the professor will serve on faculty committees and contribute to the academy and the church. This person must have a commitment to the preparation of women and men for the Christian ministry, be an active participant in the life of a Christian communion, and possess the ability to work collegially in a Reformed context. 1. Providing religious, spiritual and moral leadership to the university community;
2. Providing pastoral care and counseling to the members of the university community;

Working with various members of the campus community and religious life leaders to create a campus environment that supports the university's commitment to spiritual growth, ethical behavior, intellectual and academic exploration of religion and spirituality, and the rich diversity of religious faiths and traditions.
4. Supervising the Chaplain's office staff and overseeing the Chaplain's office Budget and Administrative operations. Engage in Development of new resources as appropriate
5. Serving as a member of the leadership team of the Division of Student Affairs and playing a significant role as part of the University's crisis management team.

Based on academic credentials the Chaplain and Minister to the University may also have teaching responsibilities in the University.
Qualifications: Candidates must demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of constituencies (faculty, staff, senior administrators, parents, alumni and members of the larger religious life community. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with college student populations and with individuals of diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to be an effective community builder. Preaching experience and experience leading worship services is essential.
