Youth track
Overview
A schedule designed with young people in mind. Interactive components, leadership with a passion for youth and youth ministry, powerful witness and thoughtful presentations. Participants in the youth track will come away having experienced a full day’s worth of presentations and seminars that will carry them forward in leadership for years to come.
The youth track includes:
- An interactive keynote presentation by one of PATHWAYS experienced faculty. The keynote will focus on the theology of Christian leadership.
- 3 workshops; designed for youth to learn and to lead—even after the event is over. Understanding and Leading Christian Spiritual Practice, Recreology: The Theology of Recreation, and Learning, Leading and Living the Gospel: Bible Study for Leaders.
- Community building, Music, Worship and Reflection time. All geared not only for the participants to experience—but also presented in such a way that participants can use in their own efforts as leaders.
- Take Home papers and resources for all of the components of the day. Each participant will receive a messenger bag with “PATHWAYS MASTERS” and will be encouraged to use these resources in their own congregations, governing bodies, and faith communities.
The youth track is offered by the Office of Ministries with Youth of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is open to youth from all denominations.

Participants
Young people (9-12 grade) with an interest in church leadership, Christian discipleship, spiritual practice. Young people in whom YOU see a developing passion for Christ and the Church or for leadership in the church.
Workshops and Keynote:
Each Pathways event will offer an interactive keynote address and three workshops for youth. The topic of the keynote address is a Theology of Leadership.

Cost:
$45—standard rate
$40—early bird rate
Fee includes tuition, program materials, bag, breaks, and lunch. A non-refundable $10 deposit is required at registration. The remainder of the fee is refundable up to 10 days before the event. Register early to ensure availability.
